There are still two weeks left to check out the 2013 edition of Disney Vacation Club's Merry Member Mixer holiday party.

The Mixers are scheduled for Monday December 9 and 16 in Epcot's World Showplace Pavilion. This little-used location is set between the United Kingdom and Canada pavilions in the World Showcase.
Members are reportedly lining up more than an hour before the scheduled start time, but there is little reason to do so. The venue is large and complimentary gifts are portion-controlled.
Upon entry members are presented with tickets for a free snack--either a rice krispie treat or cookie--and a raffle entry form. The raffle grand prize is a gift basket filled with an assortment of Disney Vacation Club logo merchandise.
Apple cider, hot chocolate and ice water are also available.
The venue is dominated by a large stage and open floor space. Disney Cast Members serving alternately as DJs and MCs lead attendees through a variety of group dances, games and activities.
Disney characters are on-hand for photos with Mickey & Minnie in one corner and Goofy & Pluto in another.
Other offerings include holiday merchandise sales and arts & crafts for the kids.
Upon departure, every family receives one Disney Vacation Club holiday ornament. This year's ornament features a wooden soldier on the front with the club logo on the rear.
The Merry Member Mixer is free to Disney Vacation Club members and their travel companions. Proof of DVC membership must be provided upon entry. Epcot theme park admission is required.
