Disney Vacation Club has announced the winner of three years' worth of DVC points.
Disney Vacation Club revealed that a "Misty Z" of California won the Grand Prize--and only prize--in the "Getaway Your Way" sweepstakes.
The contest allowed members and non-members alike to play a virtual board game up to 10 times, amassing a number of faux DVC points. The contest winner--chosen via random drawing--would then receive an equivalent number of real Disney Vacation Club points equivalent to the amount earned in the game, up to a maximum of 500 points. Sadly the contest points are available for only three years.
It is not known exactly how many points Misty will receive.
The contest winnings include not only the three years' use of Disney Vacation Club points but all annual dues and a cash stipend to cover income taxes on the prize.
