Booking Reminder added to DVCMember.com

A recent update to the official member portal--DVCMember.com--has added a daily booking reminder.  This new box displayed on the right-hand toolbar shows the arrival dates for which members are currently eligible to book their Home and non-Home resorts.

A news bulletin posted to DVCMember.com recently revealed that enhancements are in the works for the Disney Vacation Club reservation system.  There has since been some debate as to whether certain policy changes were mandatory or optional.

"Give A Day" ticket upgrade available to DVC members

Disney's current "Give A Day, Get A Disney Day" program allows individuals to receive a free single-day theme park admission ticket in return for performing volunteer work within their community.  Participants have the opportunity to upgrade the complimentary single-day ticket to an multi-day ticket or Annual Pass. But does this upgrade apply to the Disney Vacation Club Annual Pass?

2011 Points Charts up; weekends fall further

Demonstrating how skewed the Disney Vacation Club Points Charts had apparently become, the charts have been modified for the second consecutive year to further increase the cost of weekday stays while lowering weekend costs.
