A new Disney application for smartphones and tablets brings unprecedented access to theme park and resort merchandise.

There was a time when the only way to purchase theme park and resort memorabelia was to sacrifice valuable vacation time browsing the Disney shops and outlets. Those days are now firmly in the past. Thanks to the Shop Disney Parks app, folks can now browse a wide variety of Walt Disney World merchandise from virtually anywhere.
The app inventory includes not only park and attraction merchandise but Disney Vacation Club items and resort-specific gear.

Orders placed via the app are delivered right to guests' homes. In the future, Disney plans to expand the app to support delivery to theme park Guest Relations locations or directly to a resort for guests who are staying on Walt Disney World property.
Those visiting Walt Disney World can use the map locator feature to locate and purchase items in-person. Selecting an item and tapping the "Find on Map" button will display a list of shops where the item is carried, along with its stock status.

In addition to Walt Disney World merchandise, the app features a small collection of items unique to Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort and Disney's Vero Beach Resort. Items from Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa are not supported at this time.
