We stay in studios. Our cooking consists of nuking Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches or toasting a bagel. Even if we stayed in a 1 bdrm, we would not cook.

We do not like the new dining plan and TS menu prices have escaladed to a point where the DDE discount just gets you back to last years prices.

We will CS in the parks but the majority of our TS are now off property.

We don't cook, either, even in 1 bedrooms...Our fridge usually just has bottled water and beer in it:rotfl2:Sometimes, depends on who I am travelling with, also, we do keep breakfast type stuff in the room, just so we aren't eating a full breakfast out every day.

Dining out at nice TS restaurants is part of our WDW experience. We never cook in the room. The only thing we make in the kitchen is coffee.

Didn't catch the second half of the question:

Without DVC we most likely would limit our trips to no more than once a year. I doubt I'd know the off-property world as well as I do now so would be less likely to wander out for a TS meal.

DVC allows me much more time in WDW. While it makes my accomodations very affordable, I still pay for travel each trip & meals. In other words, without DVC I'll spend $X for a week in WDW. With DVC I'll spend $X+ to stay 33 days a year. Bottom line is that annually I probably spend more in WDW with DVC but also get much more time.

With rapidly rising WDW TS prices, I can't afford a months worth of WDW TS. But I'm also not picky. I enjoy eating at Sizzler or CiCi's pizza and similar locations. I'm one of the few that think a Big Mac contains one serving of all the major food groups.
