Effective October 28, 2014, Disney Vacation Development declared 10 more two-bedroom vacation homes at the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian for the Disney Vacation Club inventory. With this latest declaration, all 94 two-bedroom vacation homes and all six Grand Villas at the Grand Floridian are now available for members to book using points. The declaration was filed on October 28, 2014, and recorded by the Orange County Comptroller on October 30, 2014.

This is only the third declaration since the Grand Floridian's initial filing on February 1, 2013. Before sales began on May 23, 2013, Disney Vacation Development declared 75.8% of the resort's 2,520,800 points for the DVC inventory. The initial filing included 68 two-bedroom vacation homes and all six Grand Villas. Subsequent declarations were then made on June 10, 2014 and August 12, 2014, adding four vacation homes and 12 vacation homes, respectively to the DVC inventory.

Although past sales are not always a good predictor of future sales, it is likely that the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian will be considered "sold out" by Spring 2015. So far this year, sales have averaged 104,769 points a month, but sales have fluctuated from a high of 137,774 points to a low of 63,610 points. As of October 23, 2014, Disney Vacation Development has sold 69.5% of the Grand Floridian's total points. Since it cannot sell more than 98.0% of the resort's total points to the general public, Disney Vacation Development has about 718,000 Grand Floridian points it can still sell to the public.
