Dedicated GMs for Grand Floridian, Polynesian

Grand Floridian

A single general manager will no longer have to oversee operations at two Walt Disney World resorts.

Disney veteran Norm Noble has been named General Manager of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  Noble previously doubled as GM of both the Polynesian and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Assuming Noble's duties at the Grand Floridian is Kim Marinaccio, now dedicated General Manager for the combined hotel and Disney Vacation Club property.  Marinaccio comes to the Grand Floridian after serving as General Manager of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Elsewhere Kent Mitchell is shifting from Disney's Contemporary Resort to assume GM duties at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge & Villas.

Walt Disney World has also created the new role of "Vice President, Deluxe Resorts."  Tracy Powell will fill the new position while working out of the Contemporary and supervising resort operations.

The Grand Floridian, Contemporary and Animal Kingdom Lodge are all home to Disney Vacation Club villas.  DVC villas and bungalows are currently under construction at the Polynesian with an expected completion in mid-2015.
