At today’s 2017 Condominium Association Meeting, Disney Vacation Club shared some images of updates to decor currently being implemented at Disney’s Old Key West Resort.
Old Key West is in the early stages of a resort-wide renovation and DVC has given us our first look at the new style. Highlights include new flooring, paint, window coverings, furniture and a kitchen with new countertops and stainless steel appliances.
Additional changes are said to include wholesale updates to the villa bathrooms including new tubs and tile.
Buildings 30-33 are being actively renovated with 30-31 closest to completion. No timeline has been revealed for putting the new rooms into service. The project is expected to take 1-2 years to complete.
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is next up for refurbishment with an early stage “inspiration room” followed by full model room planned for 2018 and work scheduled to begin in 2019.
