Old Key West News
Later this month, Disney plans to begin re-paving the roadways in Disney's Old Key West Resort.
The paving project is set to run from August 29 to September 12, 2011. Traffic will be maintained during the re-paving but areas will be reduced to one lane.
In other refurbishment news, Disney will be conducting repairs to the metal roof on Olivia's from September 6 - October 17, 2011.
Reminder that refurbishment dates are estimates only. Actual project start and end dates may vary.

Well, we depart on the 30th, so for one day I think we can tolerate the inconvience.
But it's a good thing it didn't start on the 28th !!!

How nice of them to fix things up before my Decmber visit.
There's still time for them to honor my request to enlarge the Gurgling Suitcase...........but they need to start work NOW!

You mean the Gurgling Carry On.... too small to be called a Suitcase.

It's funny, because in the real town of Key West, bars and drinking establishments are a major part of the community.
And yet Old Key West, by far, has the smallest bar/lounge of any Disney Resort.
