Disney has formally introduced the Disney Premier Passport, a new annual pass variation which provides a year's admission to all of Disney theme parks within the United States for around $700.

Note that according to our sources Disney does not plan to offer any discounts to Disney Vacation Club members.

Disney Parks fans rejoice! On Wednesday at The Walt Disney Company's Annual Meeting, a new Annual Passport valid for admission to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks was introduced — Disney Premier Passport!

Guests who currently hold both a Disneyland and a Walt Disney World Annual Pass will be able to upgrade their passes to the new Disney Premier Passport, and the expiration date will be based on the latter of the two annual passes. Annual Passholders who currently have a pass to one Disney Resort may upgrade their current pass to a Premier Passport (the passholder will be credited the difference based on the retail value of their current Annual Pass).

The Disney Premier Passport will only be available for purchase (or upgrade) on site at a domestic Disney theme park. A new Premier Passport will retail for $700. The Premier Passport will be on sale March 11, 2010.

Benefits include:

  • Unlimited admission for 365 to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure, including Park Hopper privileges
  • Parking for all theme parks
  • Unlimited admission to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach water parks at Walt Disney World
  • Subscriptions to Passholder publications
  • A one-year subscription to Disney Family Fun magazine (one per household)
  • Unlimited admission (except activities/events specially priced) to DisneyQuest in Downtown Disney Orlando, ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex (valid only on event days; some events require an additional admission charge) and Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course (greens fee only; tee time reservations are required and subject to availability).
