Discounts Still Available on Copper Creek Points

Financial News & Pricing

A few points are still available for sale at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, though the high base price makes it an expensive Disney Vacation Club purchase.

Back on June 1, 2019, Disney Vacation Club raised the price of Copper Creek points to $210 each as they approached a sell-out of the resort. Today DVC is still sitting on about 100,000 points, but that didn't stop them from raising the price to $220 and offering discounts worth about $15-20 per point.

Buyers can choose between a discounted rate or a number of "free" points which varies with the size of purchase.

A purchase of 200 points yields a discount of $3300 or $16.50 per point. At 220 points the discount increases to $4400 or $20 per point off of the $220 rate.

Buyers can also elect to pay the full $220 price while receiving additional points over the life of the contract. For current owners, an add-on as small as 105 point will yield 5 additional points at no cost. A 200-point add-on nets 25 free points and buyers of 285 will receive 35 complimentary vacation points.

First-time buyers will receive 5 points with a 155-pt purchase. That rises to 15 free points with 190 and 20 free with a purchase of 220.

Other cash and points incentives are available at different purchase levels. The promotional points are received annually for the duration of the contract. Owners are responsible for annual dues on the free points.

These offers are scheduled to run through April 28, 2020 or whenever points are exhausted.

Disney's Riviera Resort and Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas are currently selling at a base price of $195 per point with incentives that can discount the rate more than $30 per point. For details, refer to our prior coverage
