To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World, guests can add their image to virtual mural on Cinderella Castle with unique Disney Vacation Club decor for members.
Disney PhotoPass and Snap are collaborating to bring a virual photo experience to guests at the Magic Kingdom. Using the My Disney Experience app, guests can select a PhotoPass image to be displayed on the castle via augmented reality.
Guests choose one of their images from the Disney app, then select a location on the castle itself for their image to be stored. The photo will be "pinned" to the castle for at least 3 years, available to view virtually during future visits to the Magic Kingdom.
A personalized video will be available to download or stream, showing the image "flying" off of the castle. Participants will also receive a high resolution copy of the chosen PhotoPass image without watermarks. The photo can be outfitted with a personalized border, with unique options for Disney Vacation Club members, Annual Passholders and Club 33 members.
