Registration opens today as Disney Vacation Club's member-exclusive returns to Disney's Animal Kingdom for three nights in July, August and September.
On the nights of Tuesday, July 26, Wednesday, August 31 and Wednesday, September 28, 2022, owners will enjoy exclusive late night access to Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Moonlight Magic provides DVC members with complimentary after-hours access to the park with reduced wait time for most attractions. Also featured in the events are unique character meet-and-greet opportunities, free refreshments, a DJ dance party and more. Events typically run for three hours after the park's official closing, with participants able to enter the park using their Moonlight Magic credentials after 6:00pm. Free transportation to and from Disney resorts will be offered throughout the event.
Members with confirmed Disney hotel reservations on the night of an event can start booking the three Disney's Animal Kingdom dates beginning at 11:00am Eastern on Tuesday, June 28. Click HERE to be redirected to the event sign-up page. Several years ago, Disney Vacation Club began using a new virtual queue system which seems to have streamlined the registration process. Those wishing to register should visit the website before 11am. When registration opens, all individuals waiting will be assigned to a random place in the queue in order to complete the sign-up.
Those staying at a Disney hotel can book Moonlight Magic for the party size listed on their reservation. Registration details must have been finalized by June 25 in order to qualify. Members are limited to one Moonlight Magic event per theme park in 2022. Capacity is limited and registration is required. Attendees must qualify for DVC's Membership Extras in order to attend. A DVC member ID card and photo ID must be presented upon arrival.
Registration will open to those without hotel reservations on Wednesday, July 13. At that time, members will be able to book a maximum party size of themselves and up to four guests.
These are the final Moonlight Magic events scheduled for 2022. Aside from the scheduled disrution for COVID-19, Disney Vacation Club members have been enjoying multiple Moonlight Magic events per year dating back to 2016. No plans have been revealed for 2023.
