This week's Disneyland Park Update at MousePlanet.com has some information related to future member meetings and special events at the left coast resort.
According to MousePlanet:

During this weekend's tours of the new Disney Dream Suite offered to DVC members, a DVC saleswoman stated that the event was the first of many such special events planned for DVC members at the Disneyland Resort. She also stated that the "Welcome Home Wednesdays" events held at Walt Disney World for DVC members will be offered at Disneyland once the new Grand Californian expansion is complete. Local DVC members might want to make sure that DVC has a current e-mail address on file for you, so you can receive notices of future special events.
