Disney After Hours is back for 2018 with Discounts for Members

Walt Disney World has revived its "Disney After Hours" program, offering exclusive access and light crowds at the Magic Kingdom.  And Disney Vacation Club members are eligible for discounted tickets.

On seven nights spread across January, February and March 2018, the Magic Kingdom will host a hard ticketed event which provides reduced crowds along with exclusive access to more than 25 park attractions.  

Dates and times are as follows:



  • January 19, 26, 30; February 8: 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM
  • February 15; March 1, 8: 9:00 PM to midnight

Attendees can enter the park as early as 7pm on their ticketed night.  During the hours listed above, the park will be closed to day guests and attraction access limited to just those who purchase the Disney After Hours admission.  

Most headliner attractions will be available during the extra hours including Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted MansionPeter Pan's FlightSeven Dwarfs Mine Train and Space Mountain.  Admission to the event also includes complimentary snacks including ice cream novelties, popcorn and soft drinks.

Disney After Hours is priced at $119 per person for advance purchase tickets or $124 for same-day purchase.  Disney Vacation Club members and annual passholders can buy tickets for just $89 each.  

Attendance is limited.  To purchase, visit the Walt Disney World ticketing website.  DVC owners must log-in with a username linked to their membership in order to buy the reduced price tickets.  

Disney After Hours is very similar in format to the free Moonlight Magic evenings at the Magic Kingdom which have been offered in February and March for the past two years.  No Moonlight Magic dates have yet been revealed for 2018.
