Walt Disney World has revealed new dates for its 'Disney After Hours' Magic Kingdom events in late 2018 and early 2019. While these events are not complimentary, Disney Vacation Club owners benefit from reduced admission prices.
'Disney After Hours' is essentially a paid version of DVC's Moonlight Magic program which is available to the general public for a fee. The events offer three hours of access to the Magic Kingdom's most popular attractions with guaranteed lighter-than-normal crowds. Featured attractions include Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain and Splash Mountain.
Complimentary popcorn, ice cream novelties and select beverages are also included.
The new dates and times are as follows:
- December 3 2018: 10:00pm - 1:00am
- December 10 2018: 10:00pm - 1:00am
- January 7 2019: 8:00pm - 11:00pm
- January 17 2019: 8:00pm - 11:00pm
- January 24 2019: 8:00pm - 11:00pm
- January 28 2019: 8:00pm - 11:00pm
- February 7 2019: 8:00pm - 11:00pm
- February 28 2019: 8:00pm - 11:00pm
- February 14 2019: 9:00pm - Midnight
- March 7 2019: 9:00pm - Midnight
Attendees can enter the park as early as 7:00pm without need for additional Magic Kingdom admission media.
The retail price for each of these dates is $125 per person plus tax (ages 3 and up) when purchased in advance or $129 per person on the day of the event. Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders receive a discounted price of $95 per person for the advance purchase.
There is no stated limit for the number of discounted tickets available to each member. Tickets will be held at will-call. The member must present a Disney Vacation Club card and photo ID when claiming the tickets. Tickets are limited for each night. To purchase, visit the Disney Ticketing website. Members must log in with a Disney online account linked to their DVC ownership in order to see the discounted pricing.
