On Thursday, February 14, 2019, Disney Vacation Club members with confirmed hotel reservations can secure a spot in one of two Moonlight Magic nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
On March 20 and 27, Disney Vacation Club will host its two 2019 Moonlight Magic gatherings at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Beginning at 9:00am on Thursday, February 14, owners with Walt Disney World resort reservations on the evening of an event can register to attend.
The events are free to DVC members and their guests. The exact schedule is yet to be disclosed, however owners typically receive 3 hours of exclusive access park (approximately 9m to midnight) with admission beginning around 7pm on event nights. Attendees will enjoy access to the new Toy Story Land along with other select attractions which is sure to include headliners like Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Star Tours and Rock N Rollercoaster Starring Aerosmith.
Each event will also feature complimentary refreshments, a DJ dance party and unique character meet opportunities. Transportation to and from Disney resorts is provided.
Note that Disney has unveiled a virtual queue system for Moonlight Magic registrations starting in 2019. The registration landing page will display the number of guests waiting to register, and present live updates while progressing through the queue. Upon reaching the registration form, members have 5 minutes to enter their information, completing the process. However, waiting in this virtual queue does not guarantee successful enrollment for the event.
Group size is limited to the DVC member plus up to 3 guests, or their full hotel party, whichever is larger. Attendance is limited and walk-ups will not be permitted. DVC member ID and photo ID must be presented upon arrival. Only members eligible for the Membership Magic perks programs may attend.
On Febraury 21, remaining availability for these three nights will be bookable by DVC owners without hotel reservations on event nights. Disney Vacation Club members--whether staying on site or not--can only register for one Moonlight Magic date per park.
