The Disney Vacation Club member-exclusive art class will continue throughout the coming calendar year.
On most Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons, DVC members can sign-up to attend a casual painting class hosted at the Top of the World Lounge. Located in Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, the sessions help members produce their own custom 9" x 12" Disney-themed artwork while enjoying casual snacks and beverages with an amazing view of the Magic Kingdom.
The instructor-led sessions are priced at $50 per person plus tax. The fee includes all materials, snacks and beverages. Those over 21 will receive one complimentary beer or glass of wine. Additional alcohol is available for purchase.
Classes are held on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:30am and Thursdays from 1:00 to 3:00pm. This schedule will be maintained through December 29, 2020. Blockout dates have been established on a number of national holidays including Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
Different paintings are created during the Tuesday and Thursday sessions, and new images are introduced each month.
Reservations can be made 180 days in advance by contacting Disney Vacation Club Member Services.
Similar DVC-exclusive sessions are offered at Walt Disney World resorts including a beverage tasting program at Top of the World Lounge plus cake making, animation and beverage tasting programs at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Thus far, none of the other sessions have been extended beyond 2019.
