DVC has begun to take reservations from those wishing to attend the "Doorway to Dreams" special event on February 9 - 12, 2008.
As we previously reported, the event will be held at the "Doorway to Dreams" sales center at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL. To register visit http://www.disneyurl.com/doorwaytodreams. Available times include 1 & 3pm on Sunday, 2/10, and 4 & 7pm on the following Monday (2/11) and Tuesday (2/12.)
Many Chicago-area DVC members were first notified of the event dates and subsequently provided with the registration website, but little is known about the actual content. The gatherings are likely to be soft-sell sales opportunities, wrapped in a party atmosphere. There will be special DVC purchase incentives offered to those who attend. Reports also indicate that Disney characters will be on-hand to entertain guests.
Note that the gatherings are open to both members AND non-members alike.
