In a survey of 4,841 frequent Walt Disney World guests conducted by Zagat Research, respondents gave Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge the highest marks of any Disney-owned resort. The survey was conducted in conjunction with the publication of Zagat’s first WDW guidebook.
Participants were asked to rate everything from theme parks and attractions to resorts and restaurants. The Animal Kingdom Lodge, site of Disney’s newest Vacation Club resort, received an average score of 29 on a 30-point scale.
Other guest favorites included the Magic Kingdom (favorite park), Soarin’ (most popular attraction) and California Grill (most popular restaurant.)
