Disney Vacation Club members can continue to enjoy the nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks show from high atop Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Top of the World Lounge

DVC Member Services has confirmed that nightly access to the Top of the World Lounge will continue throughout 2019.

DVC owners--and their traveling party--staying at any Disney-owned-and-operated resort at Walt Disney World have complimentary access to the lounge most nights of the year. Members must present their Disney Vacation Club ID card and a photo ID at the check-in podium located in the Bay Lake Tower lobby. Once access requirements are confirmed, the party will be escorted to the lounge located on the resort's 16th floor.

Top of the World Lounge offers cocktails and other beverages at its cash bar, along with a selection of light snack foods.  Interior seating accommodates 50-75 guests while the outdoor deck has room for several hundred indivdiuals.

The lounge currently opens at 6:00pm most nights. Check the Walt Disney World website or mobile app for scheduled fireworks times. Note that there is limited seating available in the lounge, and it is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Blockout dates include July 3 & 4 and December 30 & 31, 2019. On these dates, the lounge will only be available to registered guests at Bay Lake Tower

Disney Vacation Club recently announced a member-exclusive dining package which includes dinner at The Wave...of American Flavors and reserved fireworks viewing at Top of the World Lounge. The announcement of this package and lack of update to DVCMember.com previously cast doubt on the status of this complimentary lounge access. Although the DVC website has yet to be updated, multiple Member Services Cast Members insist the perk has been formally extended into 2019.
