The popular Christmastime draw is currently under construction and has a posted opening date.
2018 Grand Floridian Gingerbread House
A visit to the Gingerbread House erected annually in the lobby of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has become a holiday tradition for many Walt Disney World guests. Build with hundreds of pounds of sugar, flour, chocolate and other ingredients, the life-size house takes weeks to assemble, involving everyone from Disney baking staff to construction workers.
Per DisneyFoodBlog.com, the 2019 Gingerbread House is scheduled to debut on November 13, 2019 at 10:30am.
Upon its opening, the house will serve as a retal location selling a wide variety of holiday confections including cookies, lollipops and, of course, gingerbread men.
The house is expected to remain in the resort lobby until shortly after new year 2020.
