On Monday, July 17, 2017, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge officially debuted. Disney celebrated the moment with a grand opening ceremony. Click inside for highlights from the festivities.
Among those on hand to christen the new resort were Disney Vacation Club Senior VP and General Manger Ken Potrock, Wilderness Lodge General Manager Thea Sargent and Mickey Mouse.
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins is the fourteenth Disney Vacation Club property and the second located at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The new destiantion features a combination of Deluxe Studio, One Bedroom, Two Bedroom and Three Bedroom units, along with the waterfront Cascade Cabins.
Other additions to the resort include the Bouder Ridge Cove Pool and Geyser Point Bar & Grill.
Copper Creek's opening comes just two days after Disney Vacation Club revealed its next project: Disney's Riviera Resort located in the Epcot resort area.
