Fall 2009 Incentive Rundown
Details continue to emerge regarding Disney Vacation Club's new incentive pricing for the fall. Here's a quick look at what we know so far.
Resort base prices remain unchanged. For all four resorts in active sales--Animal Kingdom Villas, Bay Lake Tower, Saratoga Springs and Grand Californian--the base price is $112 per point.
Discounts vary by property as follows:
Animal Kingdom Villas: $10 discount
Bay Lake Tower: $5 discount
Saratoga Springs: $10 discount
Villas at Grand Californian: $15 discount
Purchases at the Animal Kingdom Villas are also eligible for the Magical Beginnings program. This enables buyers to sell back the first year's worth of points in exchange for an additional $5 per point discount.
Purchases at the Grand Californian can receive a $500 Disney Visa Reward Card if they put their downpayment on the Chase Disney Visa. Grand Cal buyers are also being offered two complimentary Annual Passes to Disneyland. However, if the Disneyland APs are selected, the base discount drops to only $10 per point.
Finally, note that the base price on Bay Lake Tower points is scheduled to increase to $120 per point on or around October 4, 2009.
As always, these offers are subject to revision as we receive new information from readers and sources...and as DVC adjusts its incentive programs. The P&P page shows $112 for 25-49 points and $112-$15 for 160+, what about those in between?
Will call my guide later today and see what they say and post back what I hear.
Thanks!

Sorry, it's $15 off for 50 points or more. I corrected that page.
In the past DVC has done greater price breaks for higher point add-on purchases. So far I haven't heard of any this time around.
Then again, I believe there was a webinar that offered $94 per point around that same time. Have read once or twice on various boards of others getting BLT as low as $92 for some promotions.
