Walt Disney World guests, including Disney Vacation Club owners, must now turn to the web for most of their dining reservation needs.

For many years, calling 407-WDW-DINE was the only way to secure a reservation at a Walt Disney World restaurant. But with online reservations now readily accessible, Disney is eliminating most of its live customer support via that number.

Advance Dining Reservations for restaurants must now be made using the Disney World app or the MyDisneyExperience.com website.

A recorded message now indicates that live operators are only available to assist with large group reservations (greater than 8 in the party), same-day cancellations and venues or dining experiences not bookable online.

Dining reservations are available 180 days in advance of scheduled check-in for Walt Disney World resort guests. A credit card must be provided at the time of booking with reservations subject to a $10 no-show fee unless cancelled before 11:59pm the prior day. Several unique dining experiences are billed in full at the time of booking. For additional details, see the Disney app or website.
