More than 9 months after Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge returned from its COVID-19 shutdown, guests finally have access to another dinner venue.
Quick service restaurant The Mara is now open from 4:00pm to 9:00pm daily for dinner service. This comes several months after it reopened for breakfast, which is available from 7:30am to 11:30am daily.
The Mara is located on the ground floor of Jambo House. The building's Disney Vacation Club villas reopened to guests back in June 2020 with limited amenities and resources. Jambo House's 1000+ hotel rooms remain closed with no published opening date.
Published operating hours suggest that The Mara will remain open for both breakfast and dinner through the end of April, but all schedules are subject to change.
Kidani Village's restaurant Sanaa reopened with the villas in summer 2020. Jambo House's other dining establishments, including Jiko--The Cooking Place and Boma--Flavors of Africa remain closed at this time.
