Disney is sending surveys to Disneyland Annual Passholders to determine what they know about Disney Vacation Club, Hawai'i and the Aulani resort project.
Survey participants are asked to respond to a number of questions using a 1-10 scale. Among the questions asked are "How interested are you in visiting the Hawiian Islands?" and "How likely are you to visit Aulani in the next two years?"
Other questions asked respondants to "Explain what Disney Vacation Club is" and "Explain what Aulani is." Both items had multiple choices like "Aulani is a timeshare Only resort", and "Aulani is a resort that offers both Hotel Rooms and Timeshare rooms."
West coast residents are said to be a prime target market for sales of points at the Aulani resort. Model villa rooms are set to debut at the Disneyland DVC sales center in the spring.
Aulani is scheduled to open on August 29, 2011.
