During a 3-day span in July 2022, the bridge connecting Disney's Contemporary Resort to Bay Lake Tower will experience periodic closures.
From Monday, July 18 through Wednesday, July 20, 2022, the sky bridge connecting the two Contemporary buildings will be periodically closed for refurbishment. Current plans call for the bridge to close early Monday until early Tuesday morning. The bridge will be available to guests from 6:00 am until 11:00 pm on Tuesday, July 19. It will then remain closed all day Wednesday, reopening on Thursday, July 21
Bear in mind that refurbishment schedules are estimates and are subject to change.
During the closure, Bay Lake Tower guests are asked to make their way to the ground level where they may walk over to the Contemporary for monorail service, dining and more.
