Higher speed cell towers are appearing in a variety of locations around Walt Disney World.

WDWMagic.com has photos and information regarding the 5G cell towers being installed around Disney resorts. Specifically, Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas and Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts are both littered with several of the tall silver towers which will soon supply ultra fast data to eligible customers.
Photos in the site show towers around the BoardWalk shopping district, near the Stormalong Bay pool complex and on several of the Beach Club's public walkways.
The fastest 5G technologies offered by carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon can exceed 1 Gbps speed. However, signals carry over a much shorter distance than 4G LTE, requiring shorter, more plentiful towers to blanket a populated area. The Walt Disney World towers are not yet active, so it is not known exactly which carriers will be supported.
