Moving into the former location of ESPN Club on Disney's BoardWalk, the new eatery is scheduled to open in 2023.
Via Instagram, The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers has shared a first look at their planned Walt Disney World venue. Located next to the BoardWalk Ice Cream Parlor and BoardWalk Deli, the distinctive look of the former ESPN Club is still visible.
This is just one of several projects planned for Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas area including conversion of Dundy's Sundries to a coffee shop and an anticipated refurbishment of the villas and/or BoardWalk exterior commencing around September 2023.
At its two other U.S. locations, The Cake Bake Shop features a unique lineup of sweets, along with a daily food program and afternoon tea service. No opening timeframe has been announced for the new Walt Disney World location.
