The Disney Vacation Club MagicBand dongles which were first released in early 2023 have returned to Walt Disney World.
At the start of 2023, Disney Vacation Club launched a series of merchandise giveaways which continued throughout most of the calendar year. Owners could stop by one of the DVC sales podiums at a resort or theme park and claim items which ranged from collectible coins to magnets to pins.
One of the more popular items was a "Disney Vacation Club MEMBER" trinket which slips onto the strap of a Disney MagicBand. Launched near the start of February, the supply of sliders was exhausted within weeks. (And they were later followed-up with a different holiday design.)
The turquoise slider from early 2023 has returned, and is now available at many locations throughout Walt Disney World. Owners are welcome to inquire with a DVC cast member at any of the sales locations to see if they are available. Members will be asked to provide their contact information in order to receive the sliders. Note there is typically a limit of 2 sliders per party; they are intended for owners, and typically not offered for children, relatives or other guests who may be listed on one's hotel reservation.
The sliders are free while supplies last.
