On the morning of April 11, 2024, Disney Vacation Club members have a second opportunity to register for the April 23 Moonlight Magic event at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Registration opens at 11:00am Eastern on Thursday, April 11 for the April 23 Moonlight Magic at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The process utilizes a virtual queue to manage sign-ups. Members are advised to arrive in the waiting room prior to the designated start time. At 11am, all individuals in the waiting room will be assigned a random queue position. This queue position will determine whether or not the member can register for the event.
The virtual queue link should be posted Thursday morning to DVC's Moonlight Magic page.
Early registration was previously held for guests who have hotel reservations on the night of the event. Hotel guests who were not able to secure a reservation on the prior date may try again, along with members not set to stay at a Disney resort.
This is the second Moonlight Magic at Disney's Animal Kingdom in 2024. Members may register for only one event per theme park, per year. Advance registration is required in order to attend, and demand is expected to exceed capacity.
Moonlight Magic is a free after-hours event exclusivel for DVC members. The event includes complimentary admission to the theme park. Guests will be able to enjoy attractions like Avatar Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest with anticipated short wait times, unique character encounters, free snacks and more. Any DVC member who qualifies for Membership Extras is eligible to register. Reservations may be made for a maximum party size of 5--the member plus 4 additional guests. The qualifying DVC member must be present during the event, and able to provide both their digital DVC member card and a photo ID.
