Wicked Wind Down Now Available Through September 12

Member Benefits and Perks

Disney Vacation Club is now accepting reservations for paid seating at Top of the World Lounge through September 12, 2022.

Top of the World Lounge

Qualifying DVC members can now have another month to book a seat in the rooftop lounge at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. For $55 per person, members will receive a guaranteed seat in the lounge plus their choice of cocktail, appetizer and dessert.

DVC previously opened reservations for the period of July 11 through August 11, 2022. This latest move suggests they may be scheduling access to the lounge one month at a time, with the new dates running from August 12 through September 12.

Reservations are subject to availability. Contact DVC Member Services to book.

Information regarding the event has been updated to indicate that Wicked Wind Down participants may check in "starting at 8pm until 30 minutes before the fireworks show." The lounge itself is still billed as opening at 6:00pm daily with check-ins beginning at 5:45. There is no indication as to why Wicked Wind Down participants are not permitted to visit until 8:00pm.

Cast Members have been systematically tweaking lounge policies since the facility reopened on July 11. The lounge draws most interest leading up to the Magic Kingdom's nightly fireworks display, which is routinely scheduled for 9:00pm. The launch of Wicked Wind Down has lead to confusion among members looking to visit the space without reservations. Most freqently, members are invited to place their names on a waiting list for any available space in the lounge. Those who cannot be accommodated within the lounge are permitted to visit the outdoor viewing platform shortly before the start of the fireworks display.

Access to Top of the World Lounge and the Wicked Wind Down is limited to Disney Vacation Club owners who qualify for Membership Magic
