Yes. Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is one of the few DVC resorts which offers Deluxe Studio rooms with an interior connecting door. Guests with two rooms reserved may request connecting villas, however the resort cannot guarantee that connecting rooms will be assigned. Both villas booked must be of the same type (standard vs lake view) in order to receive connecting rooms. Contact DVC Member Services to make the request.
Generally speaking, no. Longhouses do have laundry facilities and ice / vending machines. However all front desk / concierge services, restaurants, gift shops and transportation operate out of the Great Ceremonial House.
The resort offers monorail service to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT via the station located in the Great Ceremonial House. Since the DVC villas are located on the far eastern side of the resort, guests may also consider walking to the nearby Transportation & Ticket Center to board the monorial or a ferry boat to Magic Kingdom.
Bus transportation is offered to other theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs from a stop located just west of the Pago Pago building.
