Riviera features two room categories; Standard and Preferred
Standard views face north / northwest overlooking the resort's parking lots. Many rooms face generally in the direction of EPCOT and have a good view of the nightly fireworks presentation.
Preferred view rooms face south toward Barefoot Bay and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Rooms may also face toward the station for Disney's Skyliner.
Disney's Skyliner provides direct service to EPCOT's International Gateway. Service to Disney's Hollywood Studios is also provided, though it requires a change of vehicles at the transfer station located at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Total ride time is approximately 10-12 minutes to either destination. The Skyliner station is located on the western side of the resort.
Bus transportation is provided to all other theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs. Bus stops are located on the eastern side of the resort.
Tower Studios are small 2-person villas located in the round tower-like structure on Disney's Riviera Resort. While DVC Deluxe Studios feature either a queen-size bed plus a sofa bed or two queen beds, the Tower Studios contain only a single pull-down Murphy sofa bed.
The rooms feature most other typical hotel amenities including a bathroom with vanity, commode and shower stall (no tub), a writing desk with chair, flat panel tv and a small kitchenette.
Occupany is rigidly capped at just 2 guests.
