It has been a relatively slow news week thus far which gave us the opportunity to peform long-needed maintenance on many of the static information pages on DVCNews.com.
The most noteworthy update is a full refresh of the Guest Room Inventory page for all Disney Vacation Club resorts including this one the Aulani resort in Hawai'i. The pages now list just about everything found in a typical DVC room with separate lists for each villa size.
Note that there may be slight variances from room to room, often due to damaged items not being promptly replaced between guests. In other cases some items--particularly kitchen tools--are available upon request rather than being stocked in all villas. One example of this is a blender. Although a blender may be found in a DVC villa if left over from a prior guest, it is not considered stock equipment in any villa kitchens.
In assembling these lists the greatest focus was placed on accurately reporting the items of most interest to members--things such as bed configurations (including sleeper sofas and convertible chairs), bathroom facilities, washer/dryer availability and so on.

To access the room inventory lists, select a resort from the drop down list then click on "Guest Room Inventory" on the left-hand sub-menu.
Also updated are the photo albums for numerous DVC resorts including Aulani, Bay Lake Tower, Old Key West and Saratoga Springs.
