As DVCNews.com grows and Disney Vacation Club continues to expand into new territories, we felt it was time to make a few adjustments to our Discussion Forum.
Organizing a discussion forum can be a surprisingly difficult task. As the forum Administrator, I have to try and strike a balance between creating appropriate "buckets" for each discussion topic, against the possibility that folks will find themselves asking "where the heck do I even post my question?!?!"
Until now we have maintained just a single forum for "Resorts" discussion, a single forum for "Trip Planning" and so on. But as DVC continues to expand into new markets--most notably the Disneyland Resort--we feel it is necessary to adapt and better serve our readership.
With that in mind, the forums have been reorganized to specifically highlight discussion related to Walt Disney World vacations, Disneyland vacations and all other destinations which fall under the DVC umbrella. We hope that folks will appreciate the new organization without finding it too cumbersome.
And we also hope that more of our Disneyland friends will find themselves a friendly home here! We already have a great core of Disneyland veterans ready and willing to discuss the left-coast parks.
As for the "where do I post my question" issue, the answer is wherever you think the question best fits! The DVCNews Forum has a great group of moderators and we will happily relocate your post if we think it fits better elsewhere.
