Disney Vacation Club has begun a new sales incentive in which buyers can receive a complimentary 3-, 4- or 7-night Disney Cruise Line voyage with a new purchase or add-on at the Bay Lake Tower or Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas.
The cruise duration varies depending upon the number of points purchased. For new members the thresholds are as follows:
NEW MEMBER PURCHASE
160 - 199 points: 3-night Disney Cruise Line voyage
200 - 269 points: 4-night Disney Cruise line voyage
270+ points: 7-night Disney Cruise Line voyage
The base price for points at both the Bay Lake Tower and Animal Kingdom Villas is $112 per point. Purchases at the Bay Lake Tower will receive a $5.00 per point discount, while Animal Kingdom Villas purchases are subject to a $6.25 per point reduction. Closing costs also apply.
The Disney Cruise Line voyage reportedly is for an ocean view room and up to 4 guests are complimentary. Additional guests can be added for a small fee. Select sailing dates are being offered in 2009 and 2010.
