The sixteenth Disney Vacation Club property has a name.
In October Disney announced plans to build a “nature-themed” Disney Vacation Club timeshare and resort hotel on the shores of Bay Lake. Now that resort has a name.
Reflections - A Disney Lakeside Lodge is planned for a site adjacent to Disney’s Ft Wilderness Resort & Campground, encompassing land which used to be home to the River Country waterpark.
The new facility will include a mix of DVC villas and hotel rooms among its 900 rooms. Terri Schultz, senior Vice President and general manager of Disney Vacation Club described the project as “a celebration of Walt Disney's lifelong love and respect for nature, with some fun and even surprising accommodation types that families will find irresistible.”
Disney’s Riviera Resort, the fifteenth DVC property, is currently under construction next to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort with a planned opening in the fall of 2019. Reflections is set to follow in 2022.
