Walt Disney World Park Hours Reduced Effective September 8

WDW Vacation Planning News

Beginning September 8, 2020, the four parks at Walt Disney World will see operating reductions of 1-2 hours each.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

When the Disney parks reopened in July, each began operating under a standard daily 10 hour schedule. But as children return to school in the fall--virtual or otherwise--crowds are expected to decline further. As a result, parks will be open to guests fewer hours each day.

Effective September 8, the daily schedule will be as follows:

  • Magic Kingdom: 9am to 6pm
  • Disney's Animal Kingdom: 9am to 5pm
  • Disney's Hollywood Studios: 10am to 7pm
  • EPCOT: 11am to 7pm

Guests are currently limited to just one theme park per day, which must be reserved in advance using the Park Pass system. There has been no word on a potential reopening of waterparks Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.
