Two new applications have been recently released for the iPhone and iPod Touch which may be of interest to Disney Vacation Club members.
The first is called DVC iPlanner. This app essentially stores and displays the point charts for all of the DVC destinations including the DVC resorts, Disney Cruise Line and non-DVC resorts around the world. The app is priced at $.99. Additional details can be found by visiting www.disapps.com.
The second application isentitled eTicket and it is billed as the official iPhone application of the DIS.
eTicket includes the familiar point calculation utilities found in many mobile DVC apps, but also includes a plethora of additional options related to the DISboards discussion forum. Additional features include satellite maps with noted points of interest, attraction details and the ability to save vacation planning information with in the app.
