Walt Disney World celebrates the Christmas season with the return of Magic Kingdom parades, along with all-time high prices for this after-hours event.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is no more. Introducing Disney Very Merriest After Hours, the latest event to carry the "After Hours" branding...and price point. The event is scheduled for 24 nights from November 8 through December 21, 2021. The exclusive hours run from 9:00pm 1:00am, an increase of one hour over the similar Disney After Hours Boo Bash Halloween-themed party. But be prepared to pay for that extra hour.
Very Merriest After Hours signals the return of parades to the Magic Kingdom with Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Also on the agenda is Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, along with complimentary snacks, limited wait times for attractions, PhotoPass "holiday magic" shots and Disney characters throughout the park.

Tickets are priced at $169-229 (plus tax) on most nights, with December 19 and 21 priced at $249. Disney Vacation Club members save $10 off the regular cost on select nights in November.
These rates are a substantial increase over the 2019 edition of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party which dipped as low as $94 per person with the DVC discount. It is also higher than Boo Bash which ranged from $129 - 169 most nights, topping out at $199 on Halloween.
Also noteworthy is a change in policy for the party entry time. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party typically allowed guests to enter the park with their party admission anytime after 4:00pm. Disney Vacation Club members benefitted from an added perk in recent years, granting admission as early as 2:00pm using only the event ticket.
For 2021, those attending Disney Very Merriest After Hours will not be eligible to enter the Magic Kingdom until 7:00pm using their event pass.
Disney resort hotel guests--including Disney Vacation Club members--can purchase tickets beginning on August 17. Sales open to the general public on August 20. To purchase, contact DVC Member Services or visit the Disney ticketing website.
