When reservations open later this month for the Disney Treasure, Disney Vacation Club members will have early booking priority. And mark your calendars for October 14 to book a DVC-exclusive cruise on this brand new addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
Earlier today, Disney Cruise Line revealed new details regarding the sixth ship in its fleet, the Disney Treasure. Among its unique features are a 'Coco' themed dinner show, a Jungle Cruise themed lounge and a brand new Broadway-style show being produced exclusively for the new vessel. When it launches in December 2024, the Disney Treasure will take over the 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean routes currently sailed by the Disney Fantasy.
Reservations open in just one week, on September 12, 2023 for Pearl-level Castaway Club members. DVC owners will be eligible to book beginning Monday, September 18, the same day as Castaway Club Gold level members. This provides DVC owners with a booking advantage over anyone who has previously taken 4 or fewer Disney Cruise Line voyages. The full list of booking dates is as follows:
- Tuesday, September 12, 2023 – Pearl Castaway Club Members
- Wednesday, September 13, 2023 – Platinum Castaway Club Members & Golden Oak Club Members
- Monday, September 18, 2023 – Gold Castaway Club Members, Disney Vacation Club Members and Adventure Insiders
- Tuesday, September 19, 2023 – Silver Castaway Club Members
- Wednesday, September 20, 2023 – General Public
The inaugural cruise will depart Port Canaveral on December 21, 2024 for a 7-night Eastern Caribbean voyage with stops at Tortola, St. Thomas and Castaway Cay. Meanwhile, Disney Vacation Club has also teased owners with promises of a Member-exclusive sailing on the Disney Treasure. In the summer of 2022, DVC members were offered exclusive access to just the second ever sailing of the Disney Wish.
