Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets officially opens on May 26, 2026 at Disney's Hollywood Studios, but Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders will have an opportunity to preview early.
In less than six weeks, the reimagined Rock 'n' Roller Coaster will make its debut. But eligible DVC owners will have a chance to preview early. In a post to its social media platforms, Disney Vacation Club tells its members to "[k]eep an eye out for details about special previews for eligible Members to experience the attraction before it opens at Disney's Hollywood Studios."
Preview dates and details will follow at a later time. DVC most recently held previews of the new Zootopia: Better Zoogether! attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom. In order to participate, members were required to have a resort reservation at a DVC destination on the ride preview dates. Advance registration was required via the queue-it web platform used for DVC's recurring Moonlight Magic events. Expect that a deeded owner must be present in order for their group to attend, and must qualify for the Membership Extras benefit program.
Additional previews will also be held for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders.
In recent days, Disney announced a track list for the attraction which includes:
- 'Song 2' by The Electric Mayhem
- 'Born to be Wild' by The Electric Mayhem featuring Camilla the Chicken
- 'Love Rollercoaster' by The Electric Mayhem featuring Jennifer Hudson and Questlove
- 'Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)' by The Electric Mayhem featuring Def Leppard
- 'Walking on Sunshine' by The Electric Mayhem featuring Kelly Clarkson
The Electric Mayhem is also expected to perform 'Can You Picture That?' from 'The Muppet Movie' during the pre-show or post-show.
Disney Hollywood Studios fixture Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith had its last performance back on March 2, 2026. The updated version featuring The Muppets is expected to retain the same ride system and track layout, with changes to the theming, pre-show, audio tracks and other elements.
