Disney Vacation Club has begun sending email reminders to owners who are set up to pay their dues in monthly installments.
For many years, Disney Vacation Club owners have been able to pay their annual dues in 12 monthly installment. There are no added fees or interest associated with this process, provided that the funds must be debited from a US-based checking or savings account.
DVC has recently enhanced its systems to send a reminder email to owners several days before the transaction is set to occur, and a second message after the payment is complete. The initial message reads like the following:
Dear (OWNER),
Thank you for being a Disney Vacation Club® Member.
Contract(s): XXXXXXX
Payment Amount: $0.00
This is a courtesy reminder that your automatic monthly Annual Dues payment will be debited from the bank account ending XXXX on 09/01/2023. Should you need to update your Auto-Pay information please visit the Disney Vacation Club website.
If you, as the debtor, are or were in bankruptcy, to the extent your original obligation has been discharged by or is subject to an automatic stay of bankruptcy, this notice is for informational and compliance purposes only. It is not an attempt to collect a debt, a demand for payment, or an attempt to impose personal liability for that debt against you.

A follow-up message sent after the debit is complete simply confirms that the payment was posted to the owner's account.
The email message does not appear to offer a way to opt-out of the notification. A "contact us" link redirects readers to the Disney Vacation Club website, which contains a variety of options for reaching DVC representatives including phone, mail, email and web chat.
Owners who are not receiving the email notices may wish to check their spam folder or contact Disney Vacation Club to review their contact information and email distribution settings.
Members who are not currently set-up for the monthly dues autopay can reach out to DVC Member Accounting to initiate the setup. Dues can also be remitted annually, with the full amount due by January 15. Other payment options are available for the one-time annual payment including use of credit cards, Disney Gift Cards and Visa reward cards.
