Beginning March 23, 2026 Disney Vacation Club's One Time Use points are subject to an additional Florida tax, raising the final price to $22.50 each. The amount of the increase is due to Central Florida's 12.5% tax rate on temporarly lodging.

These points were previously offered for $20 each, a rate which included all applicable taxes.

Up to 24 One Time Use points are available to purchase each year as a way of overcoming shortfalls in member needs. The points are valid for a single reservation, not for a period of 30-40 years like most Disney Vacation Club point purchases. One Time Use points can only be used to book accommodations 7 months prior to arrival. They are drawn from DVC's unsold inventory at resorts they are currently marketing, and have no 11-month booking rights. Owners must call DVC Member Services directly in order to purchase the points.

No annual dues or additional fees apply to the One Time Use points.

One of the benefits of DVC's Membership Magic Beyond extended perks program is a 2-for-1 offer on One Time Use points. An owner can pay for up to 12 points per year, and will receive an equal amount at no cost. According to Disney Vacation Club representatives, there is no tax charged on the free points.
