Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort was the third property added to the timeshare program and a cherished vacation spot for many members. But the lack of a nearby theme park isn't the only aspect that separates Hilton Head from the likes of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and the Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel.

Recently I had a chance to visit Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort for the first time. What a wonderful little property it is! It may not have the oceanfront location of the nearby Marriott where I was staying for a conference but the Disney Vacation Club property is a much more attractive development.
