Vero Beach Resort

The newly-renovated and expanded spa facilities at Disney's Vero Beach Resort are now open for business.

New Spa Opens Doors to Guests

VERO BEACH, Fla. – Soothing services designed to melt away stress and restore the mind and body are now available at The Spa at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. The relaxing retreat offers pampering treatments for both overnight guests of the Disney Vacation Club resort and area residents.

The 1,500-square-foot facility complements the nautical design of the picturesque 211-room Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. The new spa houses one wet treatment room ideal for indulgent body scrubs and aromatic body wraps, plus a Vichy shower. Two massage rooms, one manicure/pedicure room and a relaxation room round out the space.

The spa is operated by local spa company Tanja McGuire Incorporated,

“The new spa will offer enriching treatments tailored to the needs of our guests,” said Sheryl Koenes, general manager of Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. “Tanja McGuire and her team share the same service-oriented approach that Disney is known for.”

Unique treatments and organic products will combine a hint of the tropics with refreshing citrus elements.

The Signature Massage uses hot stones, warm shells and tropical or citrus essential oils designed to connect guests with the peaceful beach setting. The Hot Stone Massage uses the stones to release tension and relax muscles. Rejuvenating facials such as the Strawberry Rhubarb Facial will awaken skin to a youthful glow, while the Coconut Hydrating Facial cleans and hydrates by using rich coconut milk and chunks of coconut. Exfoliating and hydrating wraps, Vichy Shower treatments as well as spa manicures and pedicures are offered. Kids can enjoy pampering, too, with facials, massages, manicures and pedicures tailored to the younger set (ages 4-12).

Chefs have created a spa menu with light fare such as prosciutto and melon salad, ahi tuna poke and chilled soups.
