Several days ago we reported that the South Florida Water Management District had approved an application filed by the Reedy Creek Improvement District to perform some sort of refurbishment to the old Treehouse Villas.  Since that first report a great deal of additional information has come to light--information which confirms that Disney has come up with a plan to completely rebuild these structures.

Matt Hochberg from the WDWToday Podcast and StudiosCentral.com has a couple of recent experiences at Saratoga Springs to share with the listening audience.

On December 24, 2007, Disney Vacation Development filed the Forty-Second Amendment to Declaration of Condominium for Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort.  This amendment added Phases 130 - 131 (Units 130A, 130B, 131A and 131B) to the Condominium. 

OK, so what does this mean to you and me?

Disney's Treehouse Villas have stood between what are now the Old Key West and Saratoga Springs resorts for over three decades.  However, yesterday Disney may have moved one step closer to replacing these icons of the past.
