On September 1, 2009 the final phase of Kidani Village at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas will open to guests, along with the nearby Pembe Savanna. According to the Orlando Sentinel, the Pembe Savanna will feature okapis, red river hogs, impala, waterbuck, blue cranes and spur-winged geese.
